Flags, floats, classic cars and pipe bands will march down Goderich Street tomorrow (Monday, September 2) to commemorate labour day.
The yearly event will begin at 11am and close Goderich Street from Port Elgin Home Hardware to Maple Square Mall.
Vice President of the Grey Bruce Labour Council, Dave Trumble says this is a celebration for everyone not just labourers.
"We would like people to show-up at the marshaling area (Home Hardware + Shoreline Baptist Church) and if they want to march with us, we're happy to have them march. If they just want to watch, that's great".
He adds, "every single person is invited to come down to lunch and take part in draws at the UNIFOR - Family Education Centre."
There will be free shuttle buses stationed at Maple Square Mall to bring people to the free event which includes food and prize draws.
