Grey Bruce | by Claire McCormack

Grey and Bruce have surveys for businesses to answer how COVID-19 is affecting them.

Both Grey and Bruce Counties have surveys for local businesses to tell them how they are being impacted by COVID-19.

Grey County has posted a link to a survey on its COVID-19 Business Resources web page, which also has links to information on benfits, grants and other surveys.

Bruce County has also now launched an economic development task force led by Kara Van Myall, Director of Planning and Development.

Their first priority is to understand the impact of COVID-19 on business through quantitative data gathered in a monthly survey that's been developed for all business owners in Bruce County.

Based on that, the task force plans to develop direct supports to help businesses and to advocate to other levels of government for the needs of the business community.

Bruce County also now has some online business seminars to learn how to navigate a rapidly changing business environment, adopt new business models, and find support.

A resource database to help business owners navigate information and supports around COVID-19.

It also is offering free business consultations where County staff can help people navigate options for thier business through the use of technology.
