Three Charged in Allenford Break-in

Bruce Peninsula OPP say they found the suspects with numerous items stolen from a business.

Three people have been arrested after a break-in in Allenford.

Bruce Peninsula OPP say they were called at about 8:45 Thursday morning about a break-in at a business on Highway 21.

According to OPP they found the suspects along with several items reported stolen including; a Dewalt jobsite radio, Dewalt chop saw, two mountain bikes, a generator, mini fridge and many other items. Police also seized break-in related tools.

A 37-year-old South Bruce Peninsula woman and a 27-year-old South Bruce Peninsula man have been charged with break and enter, possession of break-in instruments, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 and possession of identity documents (passports).

Meanwhile a 19-year-old South Bruce Peninsula man has been charged with failing to comply with a probation order, break and enter, possession of break-in instruments, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 and possession of an identity document (passport).

Police say all three are being held for bail and will appear before the Owen Sound Court on Friday.

OPP say the investigation is continuing.
