Chesley | by Fred Wallace

Local Hockey game for the family of Brooklyn Hutton as she deals with cancer.

Tonight at the Chesley Arena, the Arran-Elderslie IceDog PeeWees will face the Chatsworth Rebels in a game designed to support the family of Brooklyn Hutton as Brooklyn deals with cancer.

The initial concept of a hockey game and bake sale has escalated many times over and now will feature raffle draws & a live auction.

Arran-Elderslie IceDogs Trainer Sara-Lynne Leask says the response and growth of the event over a 2 week period has been staggering.

Leask relates the Bruce Labour Council, local referees, elementary school students plus parliamentarians Larry Miller & Bill Walker have all stepped up to support the game in one form or another.

The game is set for 6pm tonight with $5 admission for adults while kids under 10 are $2.
