A paddle boarder had to be rescued in the water off Balm Beach.
On Tuesday around 9 P.M., police got a call of a woman in distress after falling off her paddle board about a kilometre from shore.
A nearby private jet ski rider was able to get to the woman and bring the 30 year old from Brampton back to shore safely.
Police are thanking the jet ski operator and remind all small watercraft users to be aware that offshore winds can move such a vessel quickly beyond shoreline assistance.
