OPP Marine officers have been patrolling the waters of the Nottawasaga River and Georgian Bay from Wasaga Beach to Thornbury.
Since June 30, officers have laid around 21 charges for speeding on the river.
Two of these vessel stops led to three day licence suspensions for the drivers who registered an “alert” during a breath test.
Police have also laid charges for towing violations, operating without a Pleasure Craft Operator Card, having open liquor, inadequate safety equipment and impaired operation.
