Grey Bruce OPP say their search for a missing swimmer at Sauble Beach continues Tuesday.
On Sunday, OPP were dispatched to a missing person in Lake Huron, at Second Avenue South, north of French Bay Road, Saugeen First Nation.
Police say a witness last saw the male swimmer out from shore, in distress and struggling in the waves.
On Sunday and Monday police used helicopters, boats and the Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USRU). They also had the help of three surrounding fire departments and the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre run by Royal Canadian Air Force and Canadian Coast Guard.
