Nine new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed Thursday in Grey Bruce.
Public Health says three are in Saugeen First Nation, two in Brockton, one is in Saugeen Shores, one in Kincardine, one in Georgian Bluff, and one is in Owen Sound.
3 Case previously reported as positive are now deemed false positive, and have been removed from case totals and municipal case counts.
The Health Unit says there are 143 High Risk Contacts associated with the region’s active cases.
Three people from Grey Bruce are currently hospitalized.
No one has died locally from the virus.
The Errinrung long-term care home in Thornbury still has outbreak status.
Although school is out for the next while, one school has outbreak status, Normanby Community School in Ayton.
There are no outbreaks reported in childcare centres in Grey Bruce.
