A 19-year-old man faces charges including assaulting police and breaching the Reopening Ontario Act after a New Years Eve noise complaint.
At 11:15 pm Owen Sound Police attended an east side apartment complex to investigate.
While there, police say the accused assaulted the investigating officer.
He was arrested and charged with assaulting police, breaching the Reopening Ontario Act and another charge under the noise bylaw. He was released with a February court date.
Police say they were kept busy throughout the night with five arrests and a warrant sought for another person.
There were a total of 12 charges laid.
