South Bruce Peninsula taxpayers shelled out almost $163,000 in 2020 for remuneration and expenses for council members and private citizens on the Police Services Board.
Mayor Janice Jackson, was paid almost $46,000 in remuneration and expenses last year and was the highest of council members.
Next was Deputy Mayor Jay Kirkland at just over $33,000, followed by councillors Paul McKenzie (just over $28,000); Kathy Durst (just over $27,600); and Terry Bell (almost $26,000).
The annual compensation figures for last year were presented to council on Tuesday, February 2nd.
