The Township of Georgian Bluffs is reopening some of its outdoor recreational spaces as of today (April 19th), following the announcement of the Covid Emergency orders issued on April 16th.
The Township confirms in a release, playgrounds are now open for use and trails will remain open to residents.
Boat launches are also now available for use and those looking to take off from Balmy Beach will first need to fill out and pay for their annual key on the township’s website.
Note all public washrooms and any other outdoor facilities remain closed during this time, including sports fields and tennis courts.
The Township reminds residents, outdoor gatherings remain restricted to people within their household and to use all outdoor spaces respectfully.
