Curbside pick-up is starting up again at the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library on April 20th.
Starting at noon, library card holders will be able to place holds on books, DVDs, audiobooks, and magazines. While in-library computer use has been suspended, emergency use may be possible by speaking to the Library CEO/Chief Librarian.
Upon placing a hold by either emailing info@owensound.library.on.ca or by calling 519-376-6623, cardholders will be notified when their items are available for pick up either by email or phone.
When the library notified you about your order, cardholders can visit the library anytime between Tuesday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m., and Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
To collect your order ring the buzzer on the table outside and you will be assisted by staff, be advised that masks are required for pick-ups.
For the eventual return of items, they can be made using the outside drop box, where they will be quarantined for a minimum of two days, during which the library does not charge any overdue fees.
In addition to these items, the library continues to offer Chromebooks, virtual story times on the library;s Facebook page, and craft kits for children, teens and adults.
