A Gastrointestinal Outbreak has been declared at Lee Manor in Owen Sound by Public Health.
Occurring at the 3 North section, a release notes, in the effort to prevent further spread, the residents will be isolated to that home area, and control measures will be activated.
Any visitations by Designated Care partners remains at one per resident. Once they have been screened and swabbed, they will be directed to go to the residents room and leave immediately after their visit.
Residents are advised, that by visiting the manor at this time, you could increase your chances of developing GI symptoms, therefore you are encouraged to exercise infection prevention and control measures, like hand sanitization.
