The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported 12 new Covid cases in the region on Friday.
According to Public Health, residents of Hanover, Arran Elderslie, Brockton, and Owen Sound tested positive.
With two previous cases now resolved, the region’s active known case load is now up to 21. One area resident is currently hospitalized.
Public Health says there are also five people from other health units transferred to local intensive care units in the area.
Seven Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
More than 105,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Friday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Thursday.
