Six new cases of COVID-19 were reported by the Grey Bruce Health Unit Tuesday.
Four residents of Saugeen Shores tested positive as well as one in Owen Sound and one in Southgate.
Public Health says with five more resolved cases there are 138 active known cases including 30 active variant cases.
There are 282 active high-risk contacts associated with the region’s cases.
Eight Grey Bruce residents are hospitalized locally and two residents are receiving care in a another region.
Over the course of the pandemic there have been eight deaths linked to the pandemic in Grey Bruce.
There are no reported outbreaks in long-term care homes, schools, childcare centres or hospitals locally.
