The Grey Bruce Health Unit is advising residents to take appropriate precautions when taking a taxi as they are seeing an increase in potential exposure to Covid while using the service.
When using a taxi, the health unit is advising residents to:
-sit in the back
-wear their mask and ask the driver to do the same
-open the windows to increase air circulation
Anyone who has used a taxi in the last two weeks is advised to self-monitor for any symptoms, isolate and seek testing immediately.
The health unit is also reiterating the importance of ensuring all Grey Bruce residents receive their vaccinations, as they will lead the population out of the pandemic.
