The Grey Bruce Health Unit reports 36 new Covid cases in the region on Saturday.
According to Public Health, nine residents from West Grey, six from Hanover, five from Owen Sound, five from Saugeen First Nation, five from South Bruce, three from Brockton, two from Meaford, and one from Grey Highlands tested positive.
With 34 previous cases now resolved, the region’s active known case load goes up to 183.
10 Grey Bruce residents are hospitalized locally and four are receiving care outside the region.
Nine Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
More than 202,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Saturday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Friday.
