The Grey Bruce Health Unit reports 20 new Covid cases in the region on Sunday.
According to Public Health, 10 residents from Owen Sound, three from Saugeen First Nation, two from Chatsworth, two from Huron-Kinloss, one from Georgian Bluffs, one from Saugeen Shores, and one from West Grey tested positive.
With 28 previous cases now resolved, the region’s active known case load goes down to 174.
Nine Grey Bruce residents are hospitalized locally and three are receiving care outside the region.
13 Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
More than 204,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Saturday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Saturday.
