The Grey Bruce OPP is notifying residents of a string of garage break and enters in Grey Highlands.
Police say since May 1, they have attended to several locations and investigations have determined the garages and outbuildings have been entered, and property stolen.
Some instances showed the doors and windows to the buildings were unsecured, leaving the suspects to enter without using force.
While the investigations are ongoing, residents are asked to ensure they have outdoor lighting, they lock their windows and doors, keep any valuables like tools and machinery out of plain sight, and to never leave their keys inside their motor vehicle while it’s unattended.
