The Grey Bruce Health Unit reports seven new Covid cases in the region on Saturday.
According to Public Health, two residents in Saugeen First Nation, two in South Bruce Peninsula, one in Owen Sound, one in Chatsworth, and one in West Grey tested positive.
With nine previous cases now resolved, the region’s active known case load goes down to 69.
Five Grey Bruce residents are hospitalized locally and one is receiving care outside the region.
13 Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
More than 214,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Saturday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Friday.
