The Grey Bruce Health Unit reports nine new Covid cases in the region on Monday.
According to Public Health, three residents in Owen Sound, two in Northern Bruce Peninsula, one in Kincardine, one in Meaford, one in Grey Highlands, and one in Brockton tested positive.
With seven previous cases now resolved, the region’s active known case load goes up to 69.
Five Grey Bruce residents are hospitalized locally, with one being treated outside the region.
19 Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
More than 215,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Monday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
