Grey Bruce OPP says they’ve responded to multiple calls of mischief, trouble with youth and trespassing over the past two weeks.
On Aug. 5, police were called to a business on Main Street in Sauble Beach after its window was broken. OPP are attempting to identify the suspects who were recorded on surveillance video, as they continue investigate. Police believe the incident occurred sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m., Aug. 5.
Last Friday — August 6 — officers were conducting patrols of Lakeshore Boulevard North at around 1 a.m., after getting word of multiple trespassing complaints. A youth was found on a property and was charged.
Grey Bruce OPP say they are seeing an increase in trespassing related calls, and residents are reminded to respect private property. Those who are found to be breaking the law, may face charges.
