The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre is helping out the Kincardine Community Days with free admissions.
A release notes Kincardine residents and rate payers will be able to enjoy time at the museum learning about the history of Bruce County.
Visitors will start off in the Anishnaabwe Endaat gallery, make their way through the pioneer times, and into the present. All while facing off against baby mammoths, conducting the Bruce County Museum Railway and playing in the technology lab.
The Kincardine Community Days acknowledges and thanks residents, ratepayers and the municipality for the financial support it has received for the Museum’s Archives and Community Wing expansion plans.
Bruce County Warden Janice Jackson says the support by the Municipality of Kincardine for the museum’s expansion plans is greatly appreciated.
“This expansion will benefit Bruce County as a whole, providing space to preserve our history,” says Jackson.
Anyone interested in attending can visit the museum on Aug. 26, 27 and 28 from 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., you must bring proof of residency with you.
