The Community Foundation Grey Bruce is inviting charities and non-profits to submit their fall grant applications.
A release notes organizations across Grey and Bruce counties who are planning a project for the fall season which will improve the community, will be eligible to apply for up to $5,000 in support.
Foundation Executive Director Stuart Reid says, “we see a great diversity of initiatives addressing all areas of community wellness, from kids and youth to, sports and art and culture, social services and all aspects of well being in the community.”
To determine if your organization’s project is eligible, you can visit the Vital Signs report which identifies the significant trends and support for issues in communities. Applications will also be requested to describe how their project is related to report in one of seven categories which include environment, health and community connections.
Reid advises organizations to reach out to the Grant and Donor Relations Coordinator at the Foundation office to discuss any potential project before applications are submitted.
The deadline for applications is Sept. 15 and more details can be found on the Community Foundation Grey Bruce website.
