Grey Bruce OPP say they have charged a Toronto resident with fraud following a vehicle fire in Saugeen First Nation.
Police note on Aug. 19, around 1:45 a.m., they responded to a report of a vehicle fire on Bruce Road 13.
The fire was put out and the occupants of the vehicle made arrangements to have their vehicle towed.
An investigation revealed however, the driver out of area tow truck had provided false ID and was arrested.
The 34-year-old was charged with personation with the intent to avoid arrest, prosecution or obstruct justice by providing false ID, driving a commercial vehicle with no licence, and driving while under suspension.
The accused is set to appear in court in Owen Sound later in Sept.
