In Huron-Bruce, the NDP Riding Association has announced Jan Johnstone as their candidate.
Johnstone ran for the provincial New Democrats in Huron-Bruce in 2018. She’s currently vice-chair of the Bluewater District School board.
Johnstone is running against incumbent MP and Conservative Candidate Ben Lobb, Liberal James Rice, Jack Stecho of the People’s Party and Independent James L Smith.
No one in the riding has been officially confirmed by Elections Canada as a candidate yet.
Election Day is September 20th. Advanced voting is set for September 10th to the 13th.
