South Bruce OPP say one of their cruisers is heavily damaged following a two vehicle crash on Bruce County Road 3.
Police say on Nov. 18 around 9:40 a.m., an on duty officer on general patrol was involved in the collision when an eastbound vehicle entered the intersection at Bruce County Road 40, and hit the northbound OPP vehicle.
Grey Bruce OPP attended the scene along with South Bruce OPP, the Chesley and Area Fire Department, and Bruce County EMS.
Both the officer and other driver were assessed at a local hospital and released.
Police say as a result, the 36-year-old driver from Markham was charged with careless driving.
Bruce County Road 3 and Bruce County Road 40 were closed for a time, but have since reopened.
