Meaford Hall is welcoming back winter and spring performances by announcing their 2022 line up.
The hall will be hosting a variety of artists rescheduled from 2020, with Tom Cochrane and Red Rider headlining the reopening on Feb. 1.
Manager Susan Lake says it is wonderful to finally be able to plan for the return to live music.
“The last two years have been devastating to the performance industry but the patrons have told us repeatedly they are ready to return as soon as possibly,” says Lake.
Additional shows have been rescheduled from the 2020 cancelled events, and several are at or nearing sold out capacity, according to a release.
“It’s incredibly exciting to think that after almost two years we are going to be relaunching at Meaford Hall. It has been incredibly busy, but I would say overall, a very happy time for all of us and the staff,” says Lake.
The hall will also host CBC comedian Steve Patterson, The Arrogant Worms, Sarah Harmer and Tapestry, and the Carole King Songbook.
Covid protocols are in place and tickets must be purchased beforehand.
