Grey Bruce OPP say a pedestrian has been pronounced deceased following a collision in Meaford.
Police say on Dec. 17 around 6 p.m., the OPP were joined by the Meaford Fire Department and Grey County EMS to a report of a collision between an SUV and a pedestrian on Sykes Street North.
OPP say the pedestrian was brought to a local hospital where they were pronounced deceased. Their identity is being withheld at this time pending next-of kin-notification.
Grey Bruce OPP say they are conducting an investigation with the assistance of the OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team.
Police say Sykes Street North will remain closed between Parker Street and Collingwood Street at this time.
