OPP are reporting a disturbance at a Bracebridge motel that led to the arrest of a Brockton man.
Police say, on December 28th, at about 9 p.m., officers responded to reports of a disturbance and mischief at a motel on Manitoba Street.
OPP say when they arrived, they tried to arrest the accused, who according to police, resisted.
Police say, during the altercation, two large dogs attacked the officers.
OPP say one was successfully stopped with the use of a Conducted Energy Weapon (stun gun). Police say the second dog did not respond to multiple stun gun attempts and was subsequently killed due to concerns for officer safety.
A 40 year old Brockton man has been charged with causing a disturbance and mischief.
