Grey Bruce OPP say a Chatsworth resident is facing numerous charges following a search warrant.
Police say on Jan. 27, the OPP Community Street Crimes Unit was assisted by the OPP West Region Emergency Response Team, OPP West Region Tactics and Rescue Unit, and Canine Unit in conducting a search on a property in Chatsworth.
OPP say as a result of the investigation, the OPP arrested the 51-year-old accused and charged him with:
-Three counts of possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking
-Two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm
-Two counts of careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammo
-Possession of a substance
-Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
-Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
-Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
Police say the search of the property resulted in the seizure of firearms, ammunition, and drugs suspected to be methamphetamine, hydromorphone, and other controlled substances.
OPP say the individual was remanded into custody and will make a court appearance in Owen Sound at a later date.
