South Bruce OPP say an investigation is underway following a fatal fire in Teeswater.
Police say on Feb. 18 at 4:38 a.m., the OPP received a report of a fire at a residence along Clinton Street South in Teeswater.
Officers were joined by members of the South Bruce Fire Rescue and Huron County EMS.
Police say one person was found inside the building and they were taken to a local hospital where they were pronounced deceased.
OPP say their identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
South Bruce OPP is continuing to investigate this incident along with the Ontario Fire Marshall’s office and Coroner’s office.
