The Billy Bishop Museum is looking for veterans who served in Afghanistan to share their stories for an upcoming exhibit.
The museum says they are inviting anyone who served to share their stories, experiences and artifacts for an Afghanistan Mission Exhibit.
The Museum’s Veterans Committee will be conducting the interviews and the museum says those who share their stories will be a significant part of the content.
The museum says this will give those who served a platform to discuss their service with the Canadian Armed Forces in Afghanistan.
As it is a living and evolving exhibit, it will continue to be added to.
The museum adds no contribution is too small, and will receive whatever veterans feel like sharing.
Participants can either have their names included or be anonymous.
The museum will be conducting both video and audio interviews, and would also accept written accounts.
Those interested in booking an interview can call the museum at 519-371-0031 or email ejolliffe@billybishop.org.
