Saugeen Shores Police say officers are investigating incidents related to unsanctioned events in bush areas and public parks.
Police say the events occurred between May 27 and the 29 which included reports of assault, weapons, underage drinking, and people in distress.
Police say they have ongoing criminal investigations as a result from these incidents, but no further information will be released regarding these investigations due to the age of the offenders.
Police add bush parties or bushers have been considered by many to be a rite of passage in Saugeen Shores.
“No young person should be exposed to violence or be in any form of distress due to the over consumption of substances while experiencing a rite of passage,” says Sergeant Andy Evans.
Police are asking parents or guardians to have a discussion over the risks associated with attending these parties.
