The Roselawn Bowling Club can look forward to making improvements to their facility, thanks to a $17,000 grant.
The club at 1555 5th Avenue West in Owen Sound applied for the grant in December 2021.
The funding is from the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.
Roselawn is hoping to put the money toward improving their greens and adding energy-efficient LED lights on the greens as well.
This is good news for the club, which had been greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic since they were not able to be open in 2020 and 2021.
