A Kincardine man has won $100,000.
A release from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says Kirk Rutledge played Encore and matched the last six of seven numbers in exact order in the June 14th, 2022 Lotto Max draw to win.
Rutledge, a 65-year-old father of three and grandfather of one, said this is his first big win.
“My wife scanned my ticket on the OLG App early one morning. I was half asleep, so it felt unreal,” says Rutledge in a statement.
He says he doesn’t know what he is going to do with all of his winnings yet, noting, “I’m going to pay some bills for now.”
The OLG says Encore offers 22 ways to win and can be played in conjunction with most lottery games for an extra $1. There is an Encore draw every day.
The winning ticket was purchased at Canco on Bluewater Highway in Grand Bend.
