Georgian Bluffs council is opening up applications for non-profit community groups and organizations to receive donations.
The township says as council recognizes many groups and organizations hold events and provide programming or services which benefit the community, they are now accepting requests for donations for the 2023 fiscal year.
The non-profit organization or group must be located in the township or serve area residents, or the event or program must be in hosted in the township limits.
They must also demonstrate a reasonable effort to raise funds from sources other than the township, and agree to acknowledge the township’s contribution in all publicity and promotion relating to the event or activity to which the donation goes towards.
The online application can be filled out on the budget and finance page on the municipal website, or a hard copy can be requested through the corporate services department.
Applications will be available until 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 30.
