Northern Bruce Peninsula council is going to consider entering into a lease agreement for the Rotary Hall in Lion’s Head at its meeting today.
The report coming to council today from CAO Peggy Van Mierlo-West, requests council enter into an agreement with The Rotary Club of Northern Bruce Peninsula for the lease of the hall starting Sept. 1, for a five year period.
The report says this comes as the local Rotary Club, which operates out of the property on 59 Main Street in Lion’s Head, recently had its lease agreement with the municipality expire.
The report says as part of the agreement, the municipality will provide the maintenance of the lawn, as well as the purchasing of cleaning supplies and services.
A by-law to authorize this lease agreement will be brought back to council at its regular meeting on Aug. 29.
