Bruce County is going to be closing its administration buildings over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
The county says the Administrative Centre in Walkerton, the Lakeshore Hub in Port Elgin, the Peninsula Hub in Wiarton, and the Penetangore Hub in Kincardine will be closed from Oct. 8 to Oct. 10.
Virtual customer service and in-person service will resume on Oct. 11 at 8:30 a.m.
The Bruce County Public Library Branches will also be closed on Oct. 10, while remaining open for regular hours on Oct. 8 and 9.
Additionally, the Museum and Cultural Centre will be closed on Oct. 10. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 8, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 9.
The Early ON Child and Family Centre will be closed from Oct. 8 to the 10.
Kincardine is also closing some of its municipal facilities this weekend.
On Oct. 10, the Municipal Administration Centre, Visitor and Tourism Centre, The Davidson Centre, Tiverton Sports Centre, Bruce Township Community Centre, Kincardine Waste Management Centre, and Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services Administration Office will be closed.
Regular curbside collection will still be running on the holiday Monday.
