Voting opens in the 2022 municipal and school board elections in several Grey County municipalities today.
Online and telephone voting is set to open at 10 a.m. this morning in Owen Sound, Hanover, West Grey, The Blue Mountains and Southgate.
You’ll be able to cast a ballot until 8 p.m. on Election Day, Monday, Oct. 24.
A secure PIN number included in voter notification letters sent out by mail is required to vote.
Those who didn’t receive one can visit an Election Help Centre and provide identification to get added to the voters list.
In Owen Sound, Election Help Centres are running at city hall from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today, as well as Oct. 17-21 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Election Day from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
There will also be a help centre set up at Heritage Place Mall Oct. 15-16, and Oct. 22-23 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., and on Election Day from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
On Monday, the voting period will open in Bruce County municipalities.
