To help inform you about some of the perspectives of candidates running for mayor and council in the upcoming municipal election, Bayshore Broadcasting News sent a few questions to all those seeking office in municipalities across Grey and Bruce counties.
In Huron-Kinloss, candidates were asked:
1) Why are you running?
2) Are there any steps municipalities can take to help ease cost of living concerns?
3) What are your ideas for economic development in your municipality?
4) Do you think the municipality has a role to play in the recruitment and retention of physicians and other healthcare workers?
Deputy mayoral candidate Perry Elliot did not submit responses by the deadline.
Council candidates Lillian Abbott, Alan Stanley Church, Shari Flett, and Carl Sloetjes also did not submit replies.
