Grey Bruce Health Services says that the renovations are set to start today for the emergency department of Wiarton Hospital.
All services are expected to remain open throughout the renovation process, and wayfinding signage will help direct patients.
The renovations are expected to be finished in early spring 2023.
The new design will add two examination rooms to the emergency department, as well as improve patient flow.
