Two members of the Knights of Meaford Hockey Club conducted a unique school project recently.
On Thursday November 10th, Piper Post & Cooper Salter orchestrated the ” Fill The Net ” Food Drive as part of their studies at Georgian Bay Community School.
Hockey fans were asked to bring a non-perishable food item to the Knights game against West Nipissing.
Fred Wallace spoke to Cooper Salter about the project prior to their game that night.
The response by Knights fans and the Knights organization was terrific and the food was transported to the Meaford Food bank and Outreach program.
