Canada added 10,000 jobs in November, according to the most recent numbers that were released this morning.
The national jobless rate dropped to 5.1%.
Closer to home, the unemployment rate for the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Economic Region increased by 0.4 percentage points to 2.7%.
That is the lowest increase in Ontario for the fourth consecutive month.
The region’s labour force size decreased from 169,800 people in October to 165,900 in November.
Provincial unemployment decreased by 0.5 percentage points to 5.1%.
