Grey Bruce OPP had a busy weekend responding to an altercation and a break an enter in Meaford.
Police say they first responded to a suspicious vehicle at a business on Grey Road 12 in Meaford on Dec. 31 at 3:24 a.m.
OPP say once on the scene, officers located two individuals and placed them under arrest.
As a result, police say a 46-year-old and a 34-year-old, both from Meaford, were charged with break and enter, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
The accused were released and are set to appear in court in Owen Sound at a later date.
Later that morning at 8:55 a.m., police say they responded to a report of an altercation on Sykes Street North in Meaford, and later in the day, an individual was arrested in relation to the investigation.
OPP say a 57-year-old was charged with assault, assaulting with a weapon, and unlawfully being in a house.
The accused was released and is set to appear in court in Owen Sound at a later date.
