A 21-year-old Meaford man is facing numerous charges after a traffic stop in Wiarton.
OPP say on January 16th at about 7:30 p.m., a Grey Bruce OPP officer was on Berford Street, when they saw a vehicle complete a turn while squealing its tires, before speeding past the officer at high speed.
The officer pulled the vehicle over, and found the driver was displaying signs of impairment.
The driver was then arrested, and charged with operation while impaired, being designated as being a young driver with a blood alcohol content above zero, stunt driving, driving without a licence, and having control of a vehicle while having cannabis readily available.
The accused was released and will appear in an Owen Sound court at a later date.
