Grey Bruce OPP have laid charges after executing a search warrant in Southgate.
After the search, police seized property and arrested and charged one person.
On Tuesday, January 17th, police searched a home, and as a result charged a 24-year-old Southgate man with unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm, knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm, storage of a restricted weapon, and unauthorized possession of a weapon.
The accused was held pending a bail hearing.
