The Municipality of West Grey is looking to hear from residents on a proposed official plan update.
The official plan provides a long-term strategy for managing growth and development within Durham and Neustadt until 2046. It addresses a number of issues including where housing, employment, agricultural, industrial, and commercial uses should be located.
Additionally, the plan also addresses what services like roads, sewers and parks will be needed to support growth as the community evolves.
Residents can submit their thoughts either on the municipal website here or in writing, with written comments being accepted until Feb. 9.
The municipality says a meeting will be held on Feb. 16 at 9 a.m. where the official plan draft will be presented and comments from residents will be shared.
