A Kitchener woman has been charged in relation to a death in Saugeen Shores.
Saugeen Shores police say in a release, that back in 2021, officers attended to a local residence for a fatal overdose investigation.
Police say, on Tuesday January 31st 2023, their Criminal Investigations Unit arrested and charged a 28-year-old Kitchener woman with manslaughter and trafficking in a
controlled substance. The accused was remanded in custody while awaiting a show cause hearing.
Police say the incident remains under investigation.
