Grey Bruce Public Health is sending out an alert after receiving reports of three overdoses in a 48-hour period.
The organization says that one overdose resulted in one person’s death.
The other two, non-fatal occurrences happened on Friday and Saturday and were successfully intervened by Naloxone.
It’s not known what drug was involved in the overdose that claimed the life of a person in their 40s.
Public Health officials are cautioning users about yellow and purple fentanyl, which is suspected in one of the non-fatal overdoses.
